Matthews Brothers Dredging LLC, from Pass Christian, Mississippi, has won a $16.1 million firm-fixed-price contract for a maintenance dredging project in Texas.
Bids were solicited via the internet with three received, the Department of War (DoW) said.
Work will be performed in Harris County, Texas, with an estimated completion date of April 9, 2027.
"Fiscal 2026 civil construction funds in the amount of $16,148,700 were obligated at the time of the award," DoW said.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, is the contracting activity.
