This stage of the Town’s overall Coastal Management Plan includes dredging operations in Palm Beach Harbor. The project will dredge around 251,000 cubic yards of material from the harbor’s entrance channel and settling basins.

The dredged material will eventually be placed along the Town of Palm Beach shoreline between Lake Worth Inlet and Kenlyn Road in Reaches 1 and 2, enhancing the area’s coastal resilience and replenishing the beach.

Weeks Marine, Inc. has been awarded the dredging contract. Once underway in mid-February, dredging operations are anticipated to take up to five weeks to complete.
