The dredger Kronshlot became the third vessel in the dredging fleet of the Makhachkala Branch and the ninth vessel in the entire fleet of the branch.

Kronshlot is a three-deck vessel with rear and bow engine rooms arrangement and rear superstructure arrangement. The vessel has two engines with a total power of 1,492kW and is powered by two four-bladed adjustable pitch propellers with a diameter of 2.2m.

The dredger is capable of dredging soil at a depth of up to 20m at water temperatures from -2° C to +20 °C. The soil extracted during dredging is collected in an underground hold with a volume of 1,000 cubic meters and then is discharged in specially designated places after being delivered there by the vessel.

With the help of TSHD Kronshlot, the branch plans to carry out dredging operations in the waters of the seaport of Makhachkala. Due to its technical characteristics, the dredger is able to carry out almost uninterrupted deepening of the seaport’s shipway.
