The City of Hampton (VA) is seeking bids from qualified bidders to provide maintenance dredging services to the salt ponds inlet.
According to the City, the work shall be performed by a hydraulic cutterhead dredge or with a mechanical dredge with all dredged material from the inlet transported and placed on the adjacent beach to the south.
Both mechanical and hydraulic dredging operations must have the capacity to dredge and place a minimum of 800 cubic yards of material per day relative to the inlet dredging.
The deadline for sending bids for the Salt Ponds dredging project is February 11, 2025.
