Dutra has just released this amazing night photo of its dredge Paul Vincent, working in Crescent City, CA.
The Dutra Group’s joint venture with Camenzind, Camenzind Dutra JV II, was contracted by the Army Corps of Engineers to perform 80,000 cubic yards of maintenance dredging in Crescent City Harbor.
The material was dredged using the hydraulic cutterhead suction dredge Paul Vincent and pumped through a pipeline to Whaler Island Nearshore Site.
According to Dutra, the dredged sediment is used to protect the coastline from storm surge and coastal erosion.
