Powerspex and Damen Dredging Equipment (DDE) are working together on a new generation of cutter suction dredgers (CSDs).
Earlier this week, a delegation from DDE visited Hengelo for a knowledge session, where they received a presentation from Powerspex employees about the working method applied to the new generation of CSDs.
According to Powerspex, this is the new generation of dredgers for which they are developing the controls and electrical installation – in cooperation with Damen Dredging Equipment.
“ During the knowledge session, we showed how the software development and panel construction are carried out efficiently and how the quality is maintained. We also talked about service and how we use wire assembly and E-Plan Propanel ,” the company said.
Through functional testing, the quality control is taken to the next level, concluded Powerspex.
