The work involved dredging channels to a 34-foot depth, with meticulous material disposal and rigorous environmental monitoring.

Dredged material was removed, transported by barge, and offloaded to the Dredge Material Placement Facility (DMPF) 3-D, located approximately 4 nautical miles south from Port Sutton Entrance Channel.

Overcoming the challenges of working with third parties for access to their dredge areas, active airport adjacency, and rocks/debris within the dredge area, Orion (formerly Orion Marine Group) showcased their expertise in channel excavation and seamless project execution.
