Dredging works will be carried out by a cutter suction dredge along the navigation channel at the creek entrance (approximate location 38˚00.690’S, 145˚05.057’E).

The works will remove sediment that has built up over time within the creek and increase water depth, improving the navigation, particularly during low tide.

Dredged material will be deposited for beach renourishment at the adjacent beach, south of the creek entrance.

Parks Victoria has advised mariners to navigate within the designated speed limit and exercise caution within the vicinity of the dredging works.
