The aim of DFSI Magazine is to disseminate and update the content of the book by the same name, published in 2018. Each issue will take a chapter of the book as its foundation and, along with supporting articles, showcase the DFSI philosophy in practice.

Published twice a year, the new magazine has a lighter format than the Terra et Aqua journal, both in content and design, making topics more accessible and engaging for readers.

With growing environmental awareness and increasing climate pressures, the DFSI Magazine will investigate and explain the latest methods in innovative water infrastructure solutions, showing how a value-added project can be successfully achieved.

For this inaugural edition, the theme focuses on integrating dredging in sustainable development and includes the topics of adaptive management, stakeholder involvement, nature-based solutions and ecosystems services.

Supporting articles look at nature-based solutions in Benin, the Delta21 concept, an interview with Lara Muller, Invest International and Pieter van Eijk, Wetlands International, a sand motor project and deploying private capital to accelerate the green transition.
