Weeks Marine subsidiary, Healy Tibbitts Builders is hard at work on the USACE’s maintenance dredging project at Honolulu Harbor, located on the southern coast of Oahu.
Honolulu Harbor is the principal seaport of the state of Hawaii, and this project will ensure that commercial and recreational vessels can navigate the waterway, which is vital for the state’s economy.
The scope of work for Healy Tibbitts Builders includes maintenance dredging as well as upland processing, transportation, and disposal of dredged material.
This is the third maintenance dredging project that the Corps is undertaking this year in Hawai‘i.
