PHOTO: Removing silt from dam reservoir in Swiss Alps by Watermaster

Watermaster/Aquamec Ltd. has just released this amazing photo of its Watermaster amphibious dredger removing silt from a dam reservoir in the Swiss Alps and restoring its water storage capacity and energy output.

Reservoirs supply water for farming, drinking, and electricity generation, while also helping to control floods.

Many of these reservoirs are old, filled with silt, and no longer function properly.
