Waterfront Property Services – doing business as Gator Dredging – recently won a $15.2 million Army Corps contract for maintenance dredging works in Florida.
According to the Corps, the project which is located in Volusia County, Florida consists of maintenance dredging approximately 900,000 from the Intracoastal Waterway (IWW) in the vicinity of Ponce de Leon Inlet and the Ponce de Leon Inlet navigation channel.
Excavated material from both projects will be placed in the North Beach Placement Area which lies north of the inlet.
The Ponce de Leon dredging projects are expected to be completed by December 21, 2025.
