Italdraghe said that another set of its 380 kW hydraulic azimuth thrusters is ready to be shipped to their client’s shipyard in Venice, Italy.

“Entirely designed and engineered in-house, these propulsion systems are a testament to the seamless and constant collaboration between our engineering and production department,” the company said.

“Every phase of development has been carefully analyzed in order to match our client requirements and to bring this high-performance solution to life.”

The azimuth thrusters are part of the range of products of ITD PROPULSION (a brand of Italdraghe Group).

According to Italdraghe, ITD PROPULSION thrusters are suitable for any type of vessels thanks to the wide performance range offered going from 25kW to 500kW and includes both deck-mounted thrusters and well-mounted thrusters.
