Louisiana CPRA has released a very interesting video about the Bayou Terre Aux Boeufs ridge restoration work.

The Bayou Terre Aux Boeufs ridge restoration is a partnerships between St. Bernard Parish and CPRA.

This project is a phased approach to strategic armoring of the Bayou Terre Aux Boeufs Ridge, near Delacroix, Louisiana.

Also, this project involves armoring 6,200 linear feet of shoreline protection and 68 acre reforestation in the adjacent marsh.

The location of this restoration will help combat the shoreline erosion and sea-level rise seen on the ridge and will provide natural protection from storm surge, increase tidal exchange and scouring, said CPRA.
