Last week, HID Dredging successfully delivered another 18-inch cutter suction dredger 500 to a customer in China.

This impressive dredger boasts a flow capacity of 4000m3/h, a 14-meter dredging depth, discharge distance capability of up to 1500m, and is equipped with a spud carriage and anchor boom.

Thanks to its three pontoon design, one central and two on the sides, CSD 500 has a draft of 1.4m. The pontoons provide this floating capacity, which allows the dredger to easily operate in shallow waters.

The primary task for this equipment is waterways maintenance, specifically focusing on sand and mud dredging.
