Dredge Yard has launched its latest cutter suction dredger (CSD), the CSD250, tailored for a customer in Greenland.

The CSD250 is equipped with an inboard dredge pump, an innovative cutter system featuring replaceable cutter teeth, two hydraulic propellers, a dredge monitoring system, a hydraulic crane, and a hydraulic spud system.

“ This robust configuration ensures optimal performance and reliability in the challenging dredging environments of Greenland ,” said Dredge Yard.

The CSD250 is scheduled for extensive testing at Dredge Yard BV Shipyard in Dordrecht. These trials will validate its operational capabilities and adherence to the highest quality standards.

Following successful commissioning and trials, the dredger will be dispatched to Greenland to commence operations.

“ The CSD250 represents our dedication to engineering excellence and our ability to deliver customized solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients. We are confident that this dredger will significantly enhance the dredging efficiency for our customer in Greenland once the testing phase is complete ,” said the company in its official statement.
