Jan De Nul’s TSHD Tristão da Cunha busy at Port of Santander

A massive dredging program is currently underway in the Port of Santander.

The work is being carried out by the trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) Tristão da Cunha, owned by Jan De Nul.

According to the Port, this dredging campaign is set to last about two weeks.

During the latest project, up to 180,000 m3 of dredge material will be removed from the Bahía and El Puntal y Canal Exterior areas, maintaining the depth at 13 meters.
