VIDEO: Completion of capital dredging works at Port of Townsville

Hall Contracting has just released this amazing video about the completion of capital dredging works at Port of Townsville Channel Upgrade.

Hall’s backhoe dredge, Woomera, joined various tugboats in ceremonially marking the last bucket of material dredged as part of the Port of Townsville Channel Upgrade project in earlier this month.

Hall removed 3.4 million cubic meters of material from the Platypus Channel and the adjoining Sea Channel, with the works enabling trade, defense and cruise ships up to 300 meters in length to access the Port.
