HERBOSCH-KIERE reaches important milestone in Senegal

HERBOSCH-KIERE reached an important milestone in Senegal today – following extensive preparation over several months, their Hitachi ZX 890, a 90 T crane, has started its operations from the Gaverland, with the first bucket into the seabed.

“In the months ahead, we’ll be fully dedicated to laying down two undersea high voltage cables to bolster the power supply to Dakar,” the company said.

This major project is made possible through the collaboration with Enshore Subsea, as they unite efforts under the Dakar Marine Link initiative.

According to HERBOSCH-KIERE, the program is part of the Senegal Power Compact of Millennium Challenge Corporation, implemented by MCA-Sénégal II.
