Port of Brisbane kicks off EOI for design of new dredger 

Port of Brisbane is now seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from interested parties to assist them with the design of a new dredge vessel.

“We are seeking to partner with a designer that can share our vision and explore future, scalable dredger designs that can meet the future needs of the port which has the capability to perform multi-purpose dredging activities,” said the Port.

Port of Brisbane is responsible for maintaining the depth of the shipping channel to ensure safe movement of commercial vessels.

“It is essential to keeping the port open for business and powering Queensland’s economy,” said the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd.
