Bohol Government, PPA officials discuss Ubay Port dredging

The Provincial Government of Bohol led by Gov. Aris Aumentado met Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) General Manager Atty. Jay Daniel Santiago together with officials on October 3, 2023.

Anchored on his Strategic Agenda on building resilient infrastructure and utilities, Gov. Aumentado and Santiago discussed the projects that are being planned to be implemented in the province this year.

These include:

• dredging of Ubay Port,

• International Port Terminal Building and Loon Welcome Center,

• the Yacht Club at Tagbilaran Port,

• expansion projects of Jagna and Tubigon Ports,

• continuation of Maribojoc Port construction.

The Governor added that these developing projects are beneficial to Bohol’s economy and to the people as well as to the neighbouring islands.
