Using the 8-inch cutter suction dredger (CSD) Pollux, all the mud will be transported to the nearby constructed lagoons on the property.
After dewatering, this nutrient-rich sediment will be spread over the farmland.
These eco and nature friendly operations will be completed with very low impact to the environment, said Smals.
