MTCC dredging crews busy on Dhigurah Harbor project

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has just released the latest update on the Adh. Dhigurah Harbor Development Project.

According to MTCC, dredging operations are ongoing at the new harbor basin.

Scope of works will include:

• new basin dredging works – 64,416 cbm,

• channel dredging operations – 6,770 cbm,

• construction of a 294m quay wall,

• a 287m breakwater,

• a 98m revetment,

• installation of 2,324sqm harbor pavement,

• construction of a ramp and a jetty, etc.

The value of the project is MVR 50.02 million ($3.2 million).
