TSHD SHOALWAY dredging the Portsmouth Harbour

The King’s Harbour Master Portsmouth has just announced that Boskalis Westminster Ltd is conducting another maintenance dredging campaign in the Portsmouth Harbour.

According to the notice, the dredging works within the harbour and its approach channels commenced last Saturday, March 25, and will continue until April 6th 2023.

For the works, the contractor is using support vessel “SMIT NEYLAND” (LOA 12.4m) and trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) “SHOALWAY’’ (LOA 90m).

KHM added that during the works the “SMIT NEYLAND” will also carry out all necessary survey operations. Both vessels will display the appropriate signals when conducting survey and dredging operations.
