Liebherr R 954 dredging excavator busy in Turkey

Liebherr has just released this amazing video about their R 954 dredging excavator, working on a dredging project in the Black Sea.

By the Black Sea, the engineering unit of Samsun, Turkish port town, uses the Liebherr pontoon excavator to dredge the seabed.

Using a boat equipped with a hold that opens downwards, the company can move between 500 and 750 m³ per day.

The Liebherr dredging excavator R 954, adapted to the salty and windy environment, is as operational as its first day of work.
