MTCC’s largest excavator ready for Rasmaadhoo dredging

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC) is deploying the largest excavator in their fleet to the R. Rasmaadhoo harbour development project.

The work includes:

• dredging and excavation operations of 8,100cbm;

• construction of a 377m breakwater;

• installation of 600sqm of paved area, navigation lights and streetlights.

According to MTCC, the value of this development program is MVR 28.1 million ($1.8 million).

The project was awarded on December 10, 2019.
