VIDEO: CSD Spartacus is on the move

Just a couple of days ago, the gigantic cutter suction dredger Spartacus was passing through Rotterdam on its way to Maasvlakte 2, where the commissioning of the vessel will continue.

Royal IHC has just released this amazing video, taken during this journey through Rotterdam.

With a total installed power of 44,180 kW and equipped with an energy-saving flywheel, Spartacus’ production rates and ability to cut hard soil are unrivalled.

The dredger can reach up to an exceptional -45 m and she has the ability to pump 15-20 km ashore.
