IHC Training Institute, part of the Royal IHC, will next month hold their Introduction in Dredging course online.
According to the company, their trainers have developed an online programme to accommodate this biannual dredging training via Microsoft Teams on 2-3 March 2021.
During this two-day introduction course, participants will gain solid knowledge about the wide variety of dredging equipment, become familiar with soil parameters and gain insight in the dredging practice.
The course is designed for both technical and non-technical management professionals in dredging-related industries.
Some of the topics that will be covered during the two day course include Dredging Equipment & Deployment; Project constraints; Site conditions & Hydrographic Survey; Environmental conditions; etc.
The training will consist of (guest) lectures, workshops and group discussions. The participants will get individual and group assignments.
