Rohde Nielsen wraps up Paldiski dredging work

Rohde Nielsen A/S recently completed the Paldiski South Harbor dredging work for the client Port of Tallinn.

This dredging program included the dredging operations on the entrance channel and turning basin areas.

The dredging started in December 2019 and was completed in less time than initially planned.

“This was possible due to of the efficient removal of sand and clay, performed by our crew on TSHD Thor R,” the company said.

Furthermore, Rohde Nielsen A/S’ Rimfaxe R helped with ploughing and leveling of the seabed.

Also, Heimdal R was responsible for boulder removal and the dredging of 200 meters trench along the quay. Securing the slope with limestone fragment was also involved in the project.
