ECTMarine Builds Core Dredge 25 for African Customer

ECTMarine, a Dutch supplier of dredging components, services and design, has received an order for a Core Dredge 25 (plain suction) from an African dredging company.

According to their official announcement, the dredger will be used for sand mining and can easily be converted into a cutter suction dredger (CSD) in the future if needed.

The design and construction operations are being undertaken at ECTMarine facilities in Noordwijkerhout.

ECTMarine said that the construction activities are ongoing and the delivery is on schedule.

The dredgers from their Core Dredge line are designed and build around the requirements of:

  • high return on investment;
  • easy to convert to different configurations;
  • easy transport;
  • easy maintenance and repair.
