MTCC Signs Keyodhoo Harbor Contract

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc (MTCC) has won a contract to construct the Phase Two of V. Keyodhoo Harbor in Vaavu Atoll.

Under the agreement, the Keyodhoo development program will include dredging of 6.300m³ of material, construction of a 102m breakwater, 97m of revetment, 212m quay wall, ramp, concrete bridge, harbor drainage and interlocking pavements.

Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure, Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed, signed the agreement today on behalf of the Government of Maldives and the CEO of MTCC, Hassan Shah, put his signature on behalf of the company.

The project is estimated to cost $1.9 million.
