Innseiling Sandnessjoen Contract for WASA Dredging

WASA Dredging signed a contract with Norwegian Coastal Administration (Kystverket) on December 21, 2018, to execute the fairway project ‘Innseiling Sandnessjoen’ in Norway.

According to the Finnish marine offshore and inland water construction contractor, the project will start in the end of this month.

Under the agreement, combined backhoe dredger/drilling platform ‘Hector’ – a WASA BHD 12000 model – will carry out the works.

Kystverket is a Norwegian government agency responsible for the water transport infrastructure along the 9,200 km Coast of Norway.

It is responsible for coastal navigation infrastructure, pilotage and harbor and port infrastructure.
