Royal HaskoningDHV Secures BM Level 2 Accreditation

Business & Finance

To achieve accreditation in the UK, Royal HaskoningDHV has completed the BM Level 2 audit process working closely with Lloyd’s Register.

The audit examined in detail the company’s processes, procedures and management systems in the UK and the accreditation now means that Royal HaskoningDHV can offer its services to its clients with confidence that the company complies with the requirements of BIM Level 2.

Working at BIM Level 2 has been a central government mandate in the UK since 2016 – and it is increasingly rolling out at a local government level. That aside, many private clients are also embracing and appointing teams to work using BIM processes,

There are significant benefits to working at BIM Level 2:

  • Increased efficiency – alongside reducing unnecessary wasted time, BIM brings huge clarity of aims and deliverables on a project;
  • Improved quality – not only does BIM help project teams to work faster, but it also means that a better quality product or service is delivered;
  • Reduced risk – working in BIM provides a greater level of transparency and openness for all parties;
  • Automation – ultimately, BIM will result in a better understanding of repeated methods, opening up the opportunity for automation in business processes.
