VIDEO: Royal Smals Completes Reinickendorf Cleanup Work

Business & Finance

Royal Smals, a Dutch company involved in hydraulic and civil-engineering works, has just released a video about their lake cleanup work in Reinickendorf, the twelfth borough of Berlin, Germany.

During the cleanup program, the company dredged 26,000m³ of contaminated silt and removed the abundant flora from this area.

“We worked with our smallest eco-friendly cutter suction dredger Puppis and we used our innovative Baleen Rapid Dewatering System with geotextile containers and environmental friendly bio polymers,” said Smals.

With use of this dewatering and water recycling process, the company was able to achieve its goal – a clean recreation area in urban living environment.
