The trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) Sospan Dau is currently performing periodic dredging operations at the Shoreham Port.
The maintenance dredging, to take place approx from 14th October to 31st December 2016, will be undertaken in the Approaches, Western and Eastern Arms of Shoreham Harbor.
According to the port notice, the operations will be carried out on an ad-hoc basis in conjunction with beach nourishment works and other maintenance works.
The duration of the works is therefore dependant on the sharing of the dredger with these other operations and the weather.
The exact timeline is therefore not known.
