WASA Dredging, a Finnish marine offshore and inland water construction company, signed the Klintehamn Harbor dredging contract today.

This cleanup project, located in Gotland, Sweden, will include dredging of approximately 150.000 m³ of soft material and removal of about 110.000 m³ of rock.

The contract also involves works on the land-filling of about 120.000 m³ of material for creation of the new harbor area.

The Klintehamn dredging scheme will start this fall and the completion is scheduled for March 2017.

WASA plans to deploy its heavy duty dredger Optimus for this job.
