CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., one of China Communications Construction Company subsidiaries, has just signed an Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contract for the construction of a new berth in Fuzhou Port.

The contract was agreed with Fujian Huadian Kemen Power Generation Co. under which CCCC will build berth No. 14 in the Kemen operation area of the Luoyuan Bay zone of Fuzhou Port.

The deal is estimated to be worth approximately $26.7 million with a completion period of 365 days.

According to the CCCC release, the project involves one 50,000t high-piled beam & slab general bulk berth, the corresponding terminal, dredging in trestle waters, hydraulic structures, production and auxiliary construction works, etc.
