Latest Update on Bembridge Dredging

Business & Finance

Dredging work at the Duver pontoon is now completed, the Bembridge Harbor Authority announced today.

Dredging operations, undertaken by the dredging barge ‘Witton II’ and hopper barge ‘Split Three’, are now taking place in the vicinity of Bembridge Sailling Club and the Bembridge One-Design moorings.

All skippers should take extreme care, especially when the vessels are manoeuvring or entering/leaving the harbor,” the Authority stated.

This dredging work will be carried out with the least possible disruption to the harbor operations and every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience.

Channel Marker buoy number 13 will remain off station for the duration of dredging work within the harbor.
