Exclusive Update: DEME’s Dredgers at New Suez Canal

DEME, an international group of specialized companies in the field of capital and maintenance dredging, land reclamation, port infrastructure development, etc. has announced that their part of dredging works on the New Suez Canal are on schedule and 50% of the job is completed. 

The completion of this capital development program is expected in August.

The project was launched by the Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish in the presence of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on 5 August 2014.
