MEL Invites Bids for Port of Lille Dredging

Métropole européenne de Lille (MEL) has announced tender for the completion of dredging works in the Port of Lille.

The works will be carried out in the area of Wasquehal and further downstream of the Roubaix urban expressway canal to Marcq en Baroeul.

The goal of the project is to find a Freycinet navigation template on the Brand Urban. The volume of sediment to be extracted is estimated at 20,000m³ in studies. These sediments were analyzed and have a non inertness and non-hazardous. After extraction, they will be placed in facilities disposal of regulated and licensed waste.

Deadline for submitting proposals is April 20th 2015.
