BIPC Conference Set for November 14

Busan Port Authority (BPA) will hold the 2nd Busan International Port Conference (BIPC) on November 14 at the Busan Lotte Hotel. BIPC is a specialized international port conference and it will mark its second year; formed last year in order to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the founding of BPA.

Busan Port Authority (BPA) will hold the 2nd Busan International Port Conference (BIPC) on November 14 at the Busan Lotte Hotel.

BIPC is a specialized international port conference and it will mark its second year; formed last year in order to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the founding of BPA.

The conference will proceed with the theme ‘Future of Port-Busan Port, the Pioneer of Tomorrow,’ and will have three sessions:

– Port Governance;

– Port Labor Supply;

– Port Redevelopment.

In particular, 18 presenters from 11 nations, including Europe, the Americas, and Asia, will participate in the conference.

Tim Power, director of maritime logistics at Drewry, British research institute of shipping markets, is scheduled to deliver a presentation on “Global shipping market prospects & challenges” at the special session after the opening ceremony.
