Cora Island Dredging Deal Awarded

Phillips Hardy from Boonville, Missouri, has won an $11.4 million firm-fixed-price contract for the majority of the Cora Island project, announced defense.gov. Phillips Hardy from Boonville, Missouri, has won an $11.4 million firm-fixed-price contract for the majority of the Cora Island project, announced defense.gov.

This development program will include dredging, land-based earthwork operations, rock placement and modifications to dike structures.

Work will be performed in St. Charles, Missouri, with an estimated completion date of December 31, 2016. Bids were solicited via the Internet, with one received.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, is the contracting activity.
