The French Regional Park boat ramp improvements program will begin in early September, announced threeriversparks.org.
Work will include dredging of material at the end of the ramp to increase the water depth and the replacement of the existing boat ramp. The boat ramp will be closed starting September 8, 2014 and is expected to reopen in mid-November.
The City of Plymouth boat ramp at West Medicine Lake Park, off of Medicine Lake Drive West, will be open in September and October when the French Regional Park boat ramp is closed for construction.
