USA: Meeting on Lower Ley Creek Cleanup Scheduled for Today

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a plan to clean up contaminated soil and sediment at the Lower Ley Creek area of the Onondaga Lake Superfund Site located in the Town of Salina, Onondaga County.

The EPA will hold a public meeting today to explain the proposed plan and is encouraging public comments. The meeting, scheduled for 7:00 p.m., will be held in Town of Salina Town Hall, 201 School Road, Liverpool, New York.

Comments will be accepted until August 14, 2014.
