USA: Kewaunee and Manitowoc Harbors Require Dredging

According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, the dredging projects in the Kewaunee and Manitowoc harbors will be undertaken in the following months. According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, the dredging projects in the Kewaunee and Manitowoc harbors will be undertaken in the following months.

The dredged material from the Kewaunee harbor will be placed at the Kewaunee Confined Disposal Facility, and sand and silt from the Manitowoc area will be placed at the Manitowoc Confined Disposal Facility.

The estimated cost of these dredging programs is between $1 million and $5 million.

The solicitation is expected to be available during this month, and the contract award is expected in July 2014.
