VIDEO: Eastbourne Beach Gets New Sand (UK)

The Eastbourne Beach Restoration Program is currently underway.

The contractor, Pevensey Coastal Defence Ltd, is placing layers of sand and gravel sucked from the seabed onto the beach.

The dredger Sospan Dau comes very close to the beach and discharges a mixture of sediment and water using a technique known as rainbowing.
