Baakenhafen Dredging Set for September (Germany)

HafenCity Hamburg GmbH has announced that the Baakenhafen dredging program will be underway from September 15, 2014, until October 31, 2015.

This deepening project will consist of removal of approximately 350,000m3 of sand by using a trailing suction hopper dredger.

The contract will also include revetment work on the slope protection, sheet piling preparations, partial quay wall demolition and renovation of quay wall and settlement measurements.
