Wasser und Schifffahrtsamt Emden has announced a tender for the Emden Port dredging contract.
The main goal of this deepening program is to retain the water depths in the fairways of the Lower Ems and Leda.
To achieve this, the contractor will need to undertake maintenance dredging works by using the cargo space dredgers.
The Emden dredging project will commence on May 5, and the tender deadline is March 13, 2014.
The estimated completion date is April 30, 2015.
