The Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, has announced a plan for the US Coast Guard Boat Basin dredging program.
This deepening project, located on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River, close to the intersection of Christian Street and Delaware Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, will include the removal of approx. 40,000 cubic yards of material from the mentioned areas.
The Government has selected Fort Mifflin as the material disposal site.
The total value of the US Coast Guard Boat Basin dredging contract is between $1 mln and $5 mln, and the responses deadline is February 4, 2014.
