The signing ceremony of Jizan Terminal Dredging Backfill Project in Saudi Arabia was held recently in the headquarters of Saudi Aramco in Milan.

The representative of the client, Fahad E.AI-Helal – the executive director of Saudi Aramco, and the representative of the contractor, Dai Zhanping – the general manager of CHEC Saudi Branch, signed on the contract. The contract amount is $ 0.389 billion and the time limit for this project is 22 months. The contract covers seaway dredging, harbor basin dredging, jetty, revetment, land formation and foundation treatment, etc.

Jizan Terminal Dredging Backfill Project in Saudi Arabia is an important terminal dredging project the Government of Saudi Arabia build to for the construction of Jizan Economic City, especially the construction of large industrial districts, such as Saudi Aramco Refinery. It is also the first large-scale dredging hydraulic project since Saudi Aramco took over the management of Jizan Economic City.

This project is another important project after the company won the bid of the Safaniyah Trestle Bridge Upgrading Project in the first half of this year.

The successful conclusion of this contract opens a new chapter of cooperation between Saudi Aramco and CHEC, expands the influence and reputation of CHEC brand in Saudi Arabia and exerts a profound impact on CHEC developing the future market and improving the market share.
